Summary:  Our Mortgage Processors are responsible for upholding established processes and workflows in order to assist with the production of all of WelcomeLink’s web-based products while enforcing quality standards and proper data reporting.  

Description: We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented professional to join our company as a Mortgage Processor in our residential division. Our Mortgage Processors are responsible for upholding established processes and workflows in order to assist with the production of all web-based products while enforcing quality standards and proper data reporting. Successful candidates will demonstrate process and organizational efficiencies, deadline management and resolution management and be committed to delivering the highest quality of each product possible.

Industry:  This position is part of our residential division, which provides communication solutions in both print and digital formats to condominiums, cooperatives and homeowners associations throughout the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities:  Our Mortgage Processors assist with the production of all our web-based products. Other responsibilities include:

  • Processing orders through a variety of tasks such as list processing, custom bank questionnaire processing, document clean-up, sending orders to print, scanning and uploading documents or performing manual workflows
  • Identifying, researching and resolving production issues
  • Handling inquiries including calls, emails and system notes
  • Coordinating with the customer support and fulfillment departments to meet product completion deadlines
  • Monitoring production queues according to set priorities and completion dates
  • Sorting incoming mail
  • Coordinating with the implementation departments to identify software needs
  • Assisting with administrative tasks including reporting, invoicing and collections
  • Other projects as assigned

Experience:  At least two years of experience as a customer service team member or similar team environment is required. Familiarity with printing and mailing principles in a production environment, residential underwriting or loan standards and real estate transactions experience is strongly preferred. Understanding of titles to land, homes, settlement statements, loan documents and title insurance commitments strongly preferred.

Education:  A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Certification as a notary public is preferred. Equivalent work experience, with excellent references, will also be considered.

Technical Skills:  Candidates must have general technical skills, including proficiency with Internet tools, telephone systems and software and other common tools. A familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
