The NQM Operations Administrator I is responsible for implementing and overseeing operational processes for NQM Correspondent purchase and sales by developing the infrastructure, documentation and workflow for controlled, efficient execution of processes.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds and manages infrastructure for purchasing loans including, collateral tracking, documentation review, and servicing on-boarding.
- Manages purchases; checks documentation for funding and creates and sends funding request.
- Downloads and checks final documents.
- Tracks and manages collateral shipping.
- Downloads and standardizes pipeline files.
- Creates Selene boarding file and boarding documents, and manages weekly Selene/SPS boarding uploads.
- Manages cancellation documentation.
- Updates workflow.
- Assists in the execution and documentation of loan sales by preparing, organizing, and communicating biweekly trades, confirming pricing with sellers, and sending documentation for execution.
- Assists in the underwriting and onboarding of new clients by managing counterparty onboarding, requesting vendor reviews, and gathering counterparty information.
- Prepares initial company overview.
- Coordinates with Banking division for account opening.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
- 1-2 years’ mortgage processing, documentation and/or operations experience, required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to enhance process efficiency.
