Monitor patient telemetry according to age and cardiac rhythm, identify and analyze arrhythmias, and complete related duties. Basic Dysrhythmia Competency is required within 30 days of hire. A high school diploma is required; ECG coursework and prior monitor technician experience are preferred.

FULL-TIME DAYS

The Monitor Tech provides appropriate telemetry monitoring based on patient’s age and rhythm. Demonstrates knowledge of arrhythmia identification and analysis. Other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. 

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Completion of an ECG course is preferred. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous monitor tech experience 

REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Basic Dysrhythmia Competency within 30 days of hire.
