Provides continuous cardiac monitoring observation and documentation of cardiac rhythm on a routine basis. Communicates significant changes in the cardiac rhythm to the charge nurse and primary nurse.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pass EKG Strip Test with 85% or greater.
Monitor Tech Certification
Current (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
