We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Developer to handle the development, implementation, and maintenance of our MongoDB databases. You will play a critical role in managing databases that store vast amounts of data and ensure their performance, availability, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop database structures and optimize queries for MongoDB databases to ensure high performance.
- Implement and manage database setups, ensuring data integrity and adherence to business requirements.
- Write efficient queries for performance improvements and maintain database schema.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate MongoDB with backend services and applications.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute database backup and recovery strategies.
- Ensure security measures and data privacy compliance are in place for database systems.
- Document database processes, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in database management and NoSQL technologies.
- 4+ years of experience in MongoDB development and administration.
- Strong proficiency in MongoDB query language and aggregation framework.
- Solid understanding of NoSQL databases and their advantages.
- Experience with data modeling and designing databases for applications.
- Proficient in JavaScript or another programming language for backend development.
- Familiarity with Mongoose or similar ODM libraries.
- Understanding of database tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with cloud databases, especially on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
