- Must have extensive experience with Java/JEE, Spring Framework MVC/Spring Data, REST services, JSON/XML, Linux, Shell Scripting.
- Must have extensive experience with NoSQL database experience, including Mongodb and Cassandra, Caching technologies (such as Redis and memcached)
- Expertise in design of complex distributed systems utilizing underlying services (generally REST) to deliver robust and scalable applications to end users.
- Experience in designing reliable, high performance and scalable software platforms.
- Working knowledge of a significant subset of technologies including: Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat), Java, Spring Framework, Rest/Json,Cassandra, MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Memcached, and Redis.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance/mentoring/coaching to the development teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt communication style and approach based on purpose and audience
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or any equivalent degree
- 3+ years technology architecture experience in MongoDB
- 10+ years of overall experience in IT industry
- MongoDB Certified Developer Associate Exam is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT.
