Job Description
The Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) Product Line is seeking a customer-focused Senior Program Manager. This individual will assume leadership of an established, high performing, strategically important team that is heading into a period of growth. The ideal candidate brings strong program management fundamentals, sound business judgment, and the leadership maturity to listen first, influence effectively, and lead through building partnerships.
The Senior Program Manager will work closely with an existing Program Manager who has successfully led the program to date. This individual is a high-performing, high-potential leader with strong program knowledge and customer relationships. The two Program Managers will operate as a team, with the Senior Program Manager providing experience, mentorship, strategic perspective, and leadership while leveraging the existing PM's program knowledge and relationships.
This is therefore an opportunity for a leader who is confident enough to share leadership, develop talent, and make the team stronger rather than simply taking control.
Key Responsibilities -
  • Provide leadership and accountability to a strategically important, complex and large modernization program.
  • Establish and maintain a disciplined program management operating rhythm, including integrated planning, risk and opportunity management, performance measurement, financial management, and executive communication.
  • Balance competing priorities and make fact-based decisions that protect the program, customer mission, and business objectives.
  • Communicate program status, issues, decisions, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and customers.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing program team built on accountability, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop the existing Program Manager, providing coaching, perspective, and opportunities to expand their leadership responsibilities.
  • Establish a complementary working relationship with the existing PM, leveraging their deep program knowledge and customer relationships while providing additional leadership and strategic depth.
  • Create an environment where both Program Managers operate as a unified leadership team with clear roles, mutual respect, and a common objective.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Ability to work fully onsite in a classified program environment and obtain and maintain the required SAP/SAR clearance level.
  • Track record of success in planning and executing large, complex programs.
  • Ability to understand and communicate with senior management regarding program performance status (cost/schedule/resources/risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.
  • Demonstrate visible leadership across the program leading by example and driving program performance excellence.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Electronic warfare familiarity
