Mod Sim Analyst

Join SAIC as a Modeling and Simulation Engineer and play a key role in driving innovation in complex system analysis and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:

As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leveraging existing SAIC, commercial, or government-sponsored models to analyze and assess the performance of advanced physical systems.
• Designing, building, and enhancing complex computer models to test, analyze, and optimize aerospace systems, such as aircraft, sensors, or missile systems.
• Developing and applying mathematical relationships, writing corresponding software, and integrating it into simulation workflows to conduct in-depth analyses.
• Utilizing aerospace simulation tools—such as 3-DOF and 6-DOF models—to evaluate missile engagements and performance.
• Preparing detailed simulation reports and creating compelling presentation materials to communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders and customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• X years of relevant experience in modeling, simulation, or related fields.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, FORTRAN, C++, etc.).
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
