Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile SDK Team Lead / Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team at Clarity Labs, leading the development of innovative Mobile Software Development Kits (SDKs) for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality SDKs and associated infrastructure that meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in Mobile SDK development (Android and iOS preferred)
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring team members
• Strong background in the following technologies: Go / Python for backend services, Objective-C/Swift for iOS development, Java/Kotlin for Android development, and AWS for cloud infrastructure
• Expertise in mobile device access and permission management, geospatial accuracy, and data enrichment techniques
• Familiarity with hardware device families, including access, permissions, and differences between hardware providers (Apple, Android manufacturers, etc.)
• Strong understanding of security considerations related to mobile app development and integration SDKs
• Ability to develop and deploy initial sample and test apps for internal testing of SDKs
• Knowledge of geospatial accuracy and data enrichment techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Nice to have: Experience with reverse engineering mobile applications, specifically APKs
• Nice to have: Experience with different methods of transport between runtime device SDK and backend APIs, including experience with CDNs, latency issues, routing, distribution, etc.

• Manage and mentor team members, providing technical guidance and coaching
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Mobile SDKs
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations
• Implement security features to ensure robustness and efficiency.
