Role & missions – What you will do 🚀
As a Mobile Game QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing hypercasual and casual mobile games, focusing on finding bugs and ensuring a smooth user experience. You will be working closely with our development team and QA engineers to execute both manual and automated tests. The ideal candidate should have experience working with automated test tools such as Alt Tester or Air Test, as well as a strong understanding of mobile game functionality, particularly with Unity-developed games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on hypercasual and casual mobile games.
- Execute automated test runs, preferably using Alt Tester, Air Test, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and document bugs, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Create, update, and maintain test cases in tools like TestRail or Notion.
- Test across various mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and ensure compatibility and consistency.
- Work with Unity-developed games, understanding game mechanics and performance considerations.
- Provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the games, suggesting improvements to testing strategies.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing clear and concise feedback and documentation.
About you – Who you are 🦄
- 4+ years of experience in mobile game testing, particularly with hypercasual and casual mobile games.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automated test execution and writing automated test scripts.
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools such as TestRail, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Experience working on Unity-developed games.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing environments.
- A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of mobile game mechanics.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
