The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join our mobile and front-end team. This role is perfect for a developer with a strong sense of ownership who thrives on taking features from concept to completion. We need someone who is highly capable across our core technologies: native iOS (Swift), modern React, and a mobile SDK that heavily utilizes JavaScript (ES6). If you are a proactive problem-solver who can work independently and consistently deliver clean, reliable, and well-tested code, we encourage you to apply. This position is full-time with the option of working on-site from our NYC headquarters. Jun Group will only consider candidates for this position who are currently legally authorized to work in the United States.
What You'll Do
- Full-Cycle Development: Take ownership of stories and tasks, and independently drive them through the entire development lifecycle—from technical design and implementation to testing and deployment.
Build Across Platforms: Develop and maintain high-quality applications and libraries using a mix of JavaScript (ES6) for our mobile SDK, Swift for native iOS components, and React for responsive web interfaces.
Make an Impact: Contribute to architectural and design discussions, making thoughtful decisions to ensure your code is extensible, scalable, and maintainable.
Uphold Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. You'll be a key participant in our culture of quality by writing thorough unit and integration tests and providing constructive feedback in code reviews.
Collaborate Effectively: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-impact solutions for our business.
What We're Looking For
Proven Experience: Ideally 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a portfolio or track record of shipping both web and mobile products.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong command of JavaScript (ES6), as it is a core component of our mobile SDK architecture.
Strong command of native iOS development with Swift and a solid understanding of the iOS SDK.
Strong command of React for building complex user interfaces.
Independent Contributor: You have a proven ability to work autonomously, manage your own workload effectively, and take tasks to completion with minimal direction.
Architectural Mindset: You don't just write code to complete a task; you think about the future impact of your decisions and proactively build for scalability and maintainability.
Commitment to Quality: A strong belief in the importance of testing. You have experience writing unit and integration tests and participating in a thorough code review process.
Strong Communicator & Team Player: You can articulate your ideas clearly, communicate progress effectively, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub and project management tools like Jira.

Greater NY-area Residents: We currently have a hybrid remote work policy. All Jun Group employees living within a 90-minute (one way) commute of our NYC office are expected to be in the office three days per week.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000, plus incentive pay
