More specifically, Impilo supports organizations running remote healthcare programs with a suite of logistics and operations services, which we deliver via web app, mobile app, and API.

Job Summary: As a Mobile Engineer at Impilo, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mobile applications. You will work closely with the product and design teams to create user-friendly and high-performance mobile solutions that meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients. Your expertise in mobile development will be key to delivering innovative and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobile Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Ensure applications are robust, scalable, and performant.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that meet user needs.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

User Experience:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Implement user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our mobile development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with mobile development frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare IT.
  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Google Associate Android Developer, Apple Certified iOS Developer).
