What You'll Do:

  • Develop Automated Tests: Create and maintain automated tests for mobile applications using tools such as Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and Sikuli.
  • Test Planning: Identify test scenarios and provide automation plans.
  • Execute Tests: Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts that cover a wide variety of scenarios such as smoke, functional, regression, endurance, and performance testing.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing on various mobile devices focusing on functional, usability, performance, and security aspects.
  • Reporting: Prepare test reports and defect logs in Quality Center and report progress to the team.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on issues to identify the reasons for defects.
  • Agile Development: Follow Agile development methodologies to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience:
    • Mandatory:
      • 3 to 6 years of experience in mobile and web application testing.
      • Proven track record in automation of mobile applications (Native/Mobile Web) with Selenium, Appium, and Sikuli.
    • Preferred:
      • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Mandatory:
      • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and Sikuli.
      • Strong knowledge of OOPs and Java.
      • Experience in automating iOS/Android native and web applications.
      • Knowledge of various test automation frameworks.
      • Ability to capture defect logs on mobile devices.
      • Fluency in handling XML, JSON, and Excel data formats.
    • Preferred:
      • Experience in testing web applications on mobile devices.
      • Familiarity with CI processes like Jenkins and TeamCity.
      • Experience with build tools like Ant and Maven.
      • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Mandatory: A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
    • Preferred: Previous experience in a mentoring role or leading a small team.
  • Verification: Be prepared to undergo a technical assessment and code review as part of the interview process.

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
