Mobile App Manager - Ninja

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mobile App Manager with a strong background in connected devices to lead the development, launch, and ongoing management of our mobile applications. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in mobile technology, user experience, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving app performance, enhancing user engagement, and ensuring alignment with our business objectives, particularly in the connected devices space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • App Development & Management:
    • Oversee the entire mobile app lifecycle from concept to deployment and updates, with a focus on integration with connected devices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, marketing) to define app features and functionality tailored for IoT applications.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices in app development, UI/UX design, and quality assurance.
  • User Engagement & Growth:
    • Analyze user feedback and app performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, especially in functionalities related to connected devices.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
    • Monitor app store reviews and ratings, responding to user feedback as necessary.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
    • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the connected devices mobile app market.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile app and connected devices development.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of developers across various skillsets and experience.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on app goals and priorities.
    • Manage project timelines effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ of professional experience in mobile app development. 
  • Experience leading a mobile development team or project with other developers.
  • Proven experience in mobile app management.  Experience working on IoT or connected devices applications is a plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience coding in Swift (iOS), Kotlin or Java (Android), or React Native.
  • Experience with Typescript and JavaScript development
  • Familiarity with HTTP(s) and BLE protocols and frameworks.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) to track app performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience with Rust
