Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection and organization of sensor data from Pison gesture platforms.
- Support the processing and cleaning of collected sensor data.
- Learn and apply basic Python skills to explore and analyze data.
- Help test and characterize the performance of different gesture classification models under guidance.
- Contribute to the generation of basic metrics for evaluating the performance of the gesture inference pipeline.
- Collaborate with research team members on specific tasks and projects.
- Document your work and findings clearly.
Required Education, Skills/Abilities and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong interest in machine learning, Robotics and artificial intelligence.
- A foundational knowledge of programming in Python.
- A basic understanding of mathematical concepts and statistics.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
