Job Purpose:
- The Mission Program Manager at Goodwill Industries of Dallas Inc will oversee and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at fulfilling the organization's mission to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for mission-driven programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate program activities, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify community needs and develop responsive programs that address those needs.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve outcomes.
- Lead and mentor program staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to ensure programs remain relevant and effective in achieving the organization's mission.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing mission-driven programs.
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation of initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving mission objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders.
- High level of organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Skills Required
