The MIS Reporting Financial Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that accurate and timely financial information is available to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, data analysis skills, and the ability to streamline reporting processes to contribute to the organization's overall success.
Responsibilities1. Financial Reporting-
Develop and maintain a suite of financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for use by senior management and other stakeholders.
Update financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
Quarterly reporting of Performance KPIs as designed by the Corporate and participate in the preparation.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of financial reports.
2. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and key insights.
Collaborate with departments to understand their data needs and customize reports accordingly.
3. Automation and Process Improvement:
Continuously improve and automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, storage, and reporting through the use of technology and tools.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting Support:
Assist in the annual budgeting process by providing historical data, insights, and budget templates.
Collaborate with business units to gather and validate budget assumptions.
Maintain and update rolling forecasts based on actual performance and changing business conditions.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and department heads, to understand their reporting requirements.
Communicate financial results and insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring they understand and act upon the information provided.
Qualifications
- CA/ICWA additional MBA qualification will be a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or MIS.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation (Power Point) skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and databases
