We are seeking a Presales Solution Lead within the Consulting & Analytics Practice in Australia & New Zealand.
This role will report to the Managing Partner – Data & AI and has been created to develop new and consistent revenue streams by industry, drive increased sales conversion, improve quality of analytic solutions, and provide an increased focus on strategic client engagement and organic growth from identified accounts.
This role will focus on connected strategies working with the Industry / Sales Leaders to provide insights into analytics offerings to drive opportunities within the industry vertical and oversight the delivery of projects. The role is expected to partner with analytics competency leads to drive portfolios of business that service client needs, from strategy and planning to program/service development; sales and solution governance, project funding/finance and delivery for new and existing customers.
Security requirements: Need to have/ or have the ability to hold Baseline clearance
What you will be doing
- Develop client relationships: pursue and cultivate trusted advisor c-level relationships in order to drive client value. Identify and collaborate with industry, digital and client account leadership to drive analytics business
- Grow the business: qualify sales opportunities and prioritise activity to increase sales conversion by interaction with GTM and Industry leads.
- Customer focus: Understand current and future client needs and frame them to deliver realisable client value
- Sales and solutions governance: manage pre-sales and delivery capacity to balance team workload, sales conversion and revenue achievement through quality outcomes
- Be able to communicate DXC’s offering strategies to clients and collaborate effectively into the DXC organisation to corral a multi-functional team to deliver against the client’s business objectives
- Establish technical credibility with existing and prospective clients, providing the ability to cultivate relationships and envision solution strategies
- Bridge the communication between IT and business operations to ensure everyone is aligned in developing and implementing the technical solutions that address the business problems
- Understand complex business problems and commercial frameworks and how to apply a logical, systematic approach to arrive at an appropriate solution. Includes finding the best technical solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems
- Architect solutions of program, enterprise and operational scope
- Define and break down the technical solutions in defining features, phases, requirements and provide specifications
- Analyse source applications, databases and infrastructure spanning multiple platforms, technologies, applications and data interfaces to identify Application Modernisation and/or Transformation requirements
The skills you will bring
- Senior level analytics experience within a sales and delivery environment in industry, consulting or software environment.
- Deep understanding of the Energy and Mining, Oil & Gas (MOG) sector which bridges across industry, line of business, IT strategy and digital strategy, with a focus on technology domains.
- Demonstrated track record of working within a team with pre-sales and delivery responsibilities, managing competing priorities in order to deliver required sales targets every quarter.
- A demonstrated record of successful business and delivery focused outcomes through client interactions and influence.
- Experience in either an Enterprise Architect or Senior Solution Architect role with demonstrated pre-sales solutioning experience
- Experience in medium to large scale transformations (Cloud and on Prem), defining target architecture and driving implementation strategies
- Conversant with new architecture frameworks and service models within the hyper-scaler ecosystems
- The ability to articulate architectural principles and solution elements to business needs. Ability to express ideas/needs to both non-technical and technical audiences
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to link business with IT
- Sound documentation, research and proposal writing skills
