Kemutec Milling Technology Manager
The primary function of the Milling Technology Manager is to provide technical and process responsibility across a range of applications. In some cases, this will be supporting Group colleagues whether in Sales or in Fulfilment, and in some cases direct with the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Technically review and respond to RFQ's, ensuring all technical requirements are met and clearly communicated to the customer.
- Provide technical solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenges in the bulk solids and powders industries.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Milling technology, staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in the bulk solids and powders industries specific to milling applications. Maintain an overview of competition technology and market strategies.
- Take ownership of highly technical application requests, ensuring competitive and compliant bids.
- Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to ensure our offerings are competitive and meet the needs of the industry and application.
- Support our Global & EMEA Sales teams by providing technical insights and guidance.
- Working with Technology Centre, conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers and sales teams, showcasing our capabilities and solutions.
- Utilising and maintaining all relevant sales tools – CRM & CPQ.
- Promote and secure sales to achieve team sales targets, specifically for our Milling technology activity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Manager or similar role in the Milling technology industry.
• Strong technical understanding of Milling technology within the bulk solids and powders industries.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to analyze and understand competition technology and pricing strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical solutions to customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
