- Generate new business through proactive outreach including cold calling, territory canvassing, and follow-up on inbound leads; maintain an active pipeline and advance opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Support the channel sales team on joint calls with distributor representatives, serving as a product specialist on high-priority or technically complex opportunities
- Deliver product and application training to distribution partners and end-customer audiences to build selling capability and drive product adoption
- Represent 3M at trade shows and industry events to build brand presence and develop new business relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions and communicate market feedback from the field
- Maintain accurate account records and provide regular territory reporting to management
- Travel up to 50%, including overnights and occasional weekends
