Avant Arte is a curated marketplace that makes discovering and collecting art radically more accessible for a new generation. Our team of passionate experts collaborate with leading contemporary artists from across the globe to create bespoke limited-edition artworks to browse and collect. We began as a cult blog of contemporary artists and since 2015 we've grown our community to over 3.3 million strong across more than 100 countries. We're proud to collaborate with leading contemporary artists to create limited edition works - from sculpture editions and works on paper to NFTs and hand-finished silkscreen prints.

The role
We're looking for a mid-weight content creative to join the content team. Content plays two key roles at Avant Arte: promoting our collaborations with artists, and building the Avant Arte brand, particularly in the eyes of artists. It’s deployed across a wide range of channels, from organic Instagram (both our own large account and the accounts of the artists we work with) to paid Instagram ads to email and website.
Copywriting is the heart of the role, so we're looking for someone who's very comfortable writing across all of those formats. However, the role is not just copywriting; we need someone who is also comfortable across a broad range of creative tasks, from concepting bespoke campaign treatments to artists to briefing and directing product shoots. The ideal candidate would be strong at copy, but would also possess a good art directorial eye.
They will report into our Head of Content Creative.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing the development of content for release, both visual and verbal
Writing copy for releases, from website to email to captions
Writing copy and scripts and developing new concepts for for paid ads
Coming up with bespoke content treatments for our bigger campaigns
Writing scripts for reels, both paid and organic
Writing briefs for shoots and artist interviews
Briefing editors on video edits, and feeding back
Keeping an eye on the data while campaigns are live, and updating things as we go
Managing a busy pipeline of content deliverables in a fast-paced environment
About you
3-5 years' experience, either at an agency or in-house on the content side of another company
A confident writer who can switch easily between a long release page and a short ad
Very organised, and happy working in a fast-paced environment
Bonus if you have
Hands-on art direction experience
Extensive experience in paid social
Knowledge of, or an interest in, art (not a requirement)

Skills Required
- 3-5 years of experience in an agency or in-house content role
- Confident copywriter able to write across long-form release pages, emails, captions, scripts, and advertisements
- Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on art direction experience
- Extensive paid social experience
- Knowledge of or interest in art
