The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and ongoing management of acute and chronic health conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams, the provider delivers evidence-based care while building meaningful relationships with patients and families.
This role offers the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced, rewarding environment while helping improve the health of individuals and communities throughout Southeast Idaho.
What You'll DoClinical Responsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice
• Perform minor office-based procedures as appropriate
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans of care as needed
• Provide preventive care and wellness education
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health strategies
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention initiatives
• Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for patients throughout their healthcare journey
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical documentation
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current Idaho Nurse Practitioner License or Idaho Physician Assistant License required
• DEA Registration and Idaho Controlled Substance License required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Three years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills
