Middleware Engineer (Junior)

We are seeking to hire a talented Junior Middleware Engineer, to join our Professional Services team and become part of our success story. 

What you'll do 

• Work collaboratively with different teams to administer the build out and support of applications servers through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production system 
• Escalate to certain suppliers on customer’s behalf to try to resolve issues outside of our control, such as bug fix requests
• Communicate with the customer through formal correspondence 
• Ensure compliance with all technical specifications
• Application server health monitoring
• Organize and provide daily operations and checks

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any related field
• 1–3 years of experience working with one or more Application Servers such as WebSphere Application Server, ActiveMQ, WebLogic, JBoss EAP, Apache, or Tomcat, TIBCO, on both Windows and Unix platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Fluent in both Greek and English

Nice to have 

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or any related field
• Certifications for all skills
• Experience with general web technologies (webservers, load balancers, databases, ldap, http protocol, JAVA, html, SSL etc) and designing scripts (Shell, Powershell etc), or application development experience
