We are looking for a talented Middle/Senior React Engineer to join our team in Colombia. Our client is on a mission to make it simple for everyone to eat well. They serve healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks from our growing network of 1100+ Smart Fridges (software-enabled vending machines).
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate within an agile team to deliver features that align with project requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend components and applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest and Cypress.
- Translate Figma designs into code using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Introduce new features, refactor existing code, and resolve technical issues to deliver high-quality, well-tested solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
- Ensure applications are optimized for responsiveness and compatibility across different platforms and devices.
- Work closely with the product owner, UI/UX designer, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Requirements:
- 4 + years of experience with JavaScript, React, and Gatsby.
- Proficiency in CSS, HTML.
- Ability to translate figma designs to code.
- Experience with Jest, Cypress.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience collaborating with business leaders and engineers to understand and define projects.
- Desire to solve complex problems elegantly and efficiently.
- Proven ability to work independently and learn new skills quickly and continuous desire to improve.
- Strong communication (Upper-intermediate level of English is required) and teamwork skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Flutter or any other Frontend languages.
- Experience with AWS.
