WHY JOIN US
If you're looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and work with people who care, we'd love to meet you!

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Product Designer to own end-to-end design for authentication and account security experiences across employer and jobseeker surfaces. This person moves from problem framing through engineering-ready specs, handling multi-path flows and edge cases within an established design system. Figma expertise and technical fluency are essential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own end-to-end design for small-to-mid scoped projects across Authentication Experience and Account Management initiatives for H2 FY26, including problem framing, exploration, iteration, and engineering-ready spec delivery.
- Partner with full-time senior designers on larger initiatives where additional design support is needed.
- Perform cross-flow systems work, identifying inconsistencies and seams across employer and jobseeker identity surfaces.
- Produce rapid MVP explorations for experimental work.
- Deliver current-state audits and flow maps of sign-up and sign-in entry points, routing logic, and account and security settings surfaces.
- Develop future-state concepts for sign-up entry path resolution, embedded authentication components, and consolidated security settings.
- Produce production-ready designs: end-to-end flows, full state coverage (empty, loading, error, edge case, recovery), responsive and mobile web, redlines, and engineering-ready specifications.
- Conduct lightweight usability validation on key flows and draft interface copy for content review.
- Provide design QA support through implementation and launch.
- Participate in engineering scoping and refinement, reasoning about authentication flows, verification and session states, routing logic, and system dependencies directly with engineers.

MUST HAVES
- You must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
- 3–5 years of UX design experience; portfolio evidence and case-study depth matter more than tenure — candidates must show shipped, engineering-implemented work on complex multi-path flows and the ability to operate independently on defined initiatives.
- Product design experience shipping production software, ideally including account, onboarding, or other flow-based product experiences.
- Experience designing, shipping, and iterating on product experiences in close partnership with product management and engineering.
- Proven ability to design complex, multi-path flows that branch based on user or account conditions.
- Thoughtful handling of edge cases, error and recovery states, accessibility, and user control across connected surfaces.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear design direction.
- Experience working within an established design system, extending it responsibly rather than working around it.
- Mastery of Figma, solid prototyping skills, and experience producing clear engineering handoff documentation.
- Clear communication and a collaborative, low-ego approach to working across functions.
- Balanced strength in both systems thinking and visual execution, with the ability to design end-to-end within complex technical systems.
- Technical literacy to reason about authentication flows, verification and session states, routing logic, system dependencies, and error and edge-case handling directly with engineers (no coding required).
- Required tools and systems: Figma; experience with an established or enterprise-scale design system; standard collaboration tooling (Jira or Confluence or equivalent Slack).
- Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with authentication, identity, account security, or other trust-related product experiences.
- Experience designing sign-up, sign-in, onboarding, or settings and preferences interfaces.
- A data-informed approach, using research, experimentation, and product metrics to improve designs.
- Experience running lightweight usability testing and drafting interface copy in partnership with research and content teams.
- Experience designing for international audiences or regulated requirements.
- Portfolio case study showing an authentication, verification, or account lifecycle flow redesigned end-to-end with measurable friction or conversion outcomes — or case studies that demonstrate workflow mapping, systems thinking, and reasoning through a complex multi-path problem.
- Prior contractor experience with a track record of ramping quickly into complex product areas and operating independently.
- Cross-flow systems work in a prior role: identifying inconsistencies or seams across a product's identity or account surfaces and driving alignment.
- Experience using AI within the design process (accelerating exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation) with a clear point of view on where it adds leverage and where human judgment is still required.
- Bias toward operationally useful artifacts (specs engineers can build from, flows that pressure-test decisions) over polished stakeholder decks.

PERKS AND BENEFITS

- Competitive compensation: We match your ever-growing skills, talent, and contributions with competitive USD-based compensation and budgets for education, fitness, and team activities.
