As a Middle-Office Trade Support Associate in the Equity Derivatives Sales Support team, you will play a key role in providing post-trade sales support, managing the full trade lifecycle, and ensuring seamless coordination between Sales, Trading, Clients, and Global Operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise, work closely with front office teams, and make a meaningful impact in a leading global financial institution.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing all aspects of pre-trade and post-trade support for the Sales Desk.
- Collaborate daily with Sales, Trading, Clients, Middle Office, and Global Operations teams, as well as Technology and Project Delivery groups.
- Support multiple Sales desks and team members across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, ensuring smooth processes from client onboarding through to settlement.
- Oversee the end-to-end operations for your Sales desk and clients, maintaining global oversight and partnering with operational teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.
- Manage the lifecycle of derivative trades, including trade bookings, novations, resets, dividends, expiries, and other cash flow events.
- Act as an escalation point for all stages of the trade lifecycle, working closely with Sales and Clients to resolve issues and manage expectations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities and escalations while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex processes and implement intuitive solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail; accuracy and precision are essential.
- Collaborative team player who inspires and motivates colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, concise, and structured messages to clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Degree Educated or JPMorgan Apprenticeship Alumni
- Derivatives product experience and understanding
- Client or Investment Banking Middle Office experience.
