Our ideal candidate is expected to work on high-performance scalable systems, has the passion to find solutions to complex problems, follows the latest technological trends of Android development and is able and willing to share his/her experience and ideas with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Working on an existing codebase
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience
- Experience with Kotlin
- Experience in working on MVVM/MVI architecture
- Experience in working on an existing codebase
- Experience with Core Java development, JavaRest API
- Experience with REST and JSON
- Experience with JetPack compose is plus
- Experience with Android Graphics Framework
- Deep knowledge of memory management
- Knowledge of Android apps Development tools, Android SDK (and NDK optional) development, including best practices, APIs, libraries, including popular 3rd party APIs
- Familiar with multithreading.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex methodologies and results to the technical team
- Good English language skills
