Who you are
We’re looking for a talented Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate client requirements into captivating designs.
Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, design trends, platform specifications, and the ability to create visually appealing and shareable content.
What you'll do
- Social Media Content Creation: Design eye-catching graphics for social media platforms, including, Instagram, Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and others.
- Campaign Design: Create and support on graphics for projects/campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all graphics align with the brand’s identity and maintain a consistent look and feel while maintaining a standard of delivery.
- Engagement Optimisation: Create designs that encourage interaction, engagement, and sharing, helping to grow our clients’ social media following.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to create innovative and relevant content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the social media managers, creative, and client servicing teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative design solutions.
- Foster feedback: Be open to giving and receiving feedback to help improve the quality, speed and effectiveness of the team and output.
What you bring
- Experience: Proven track record of professional graphic design experience in the MENA region over the past 3-4 years, with a focus on social media content.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing social media design projects across various platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Must understand the process of working with motion graphic designers.
- Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their design specifications, and best practices.
- Creativity: A keen eye for aesthetics and details, with a strong sense of creativity and originality. Curious, always exploring new trends and ideas. Assessing your work and finding ways to improve.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and feedback.
- Nice to have: OOH & print experience.
