We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our infotainment development team. This role focuses on designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and on-premise environments that ensure smooth delivery of complex software systems for next-generation infotainment solutions. The position requires deep expertise in Linux systems, containerization, scripting, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
The role involves close collaboration with software developers, QA engineers, and system architects, as well as hands-on work with on-prem infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain tools & automation solutions for CI/CD workflows, continuous integration, testing, and software updates
- Build and optimize pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and related tooling
- Develop tools, plug-ins, and scripts to support software integration and delivery processes
- Manage source control strategies, branching models, merge workflows, and release management (GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket)
- Implement and maintain infrastructure for on-premise development and testing environments
- Support configuration management and infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of infotainment system builds and deployments
- Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration and deployment issues
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong proficiency with Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Expertise with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation
- Solid experience with SCM systems (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket), including webhooks, merge strategies, and release management
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and container-based development; experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable
- Familiarity with build tools such as GNU Make, CMake, Gradle, Soong, Bazel (a strong plus)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Background in DevOps, micro-services, and cloud backend operations
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in infotainment, automotive, or embedded software environments
- Familiarity with on-prem infrastructure optimization and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of networking, security, and system hardening best practices
