Mid / Senior Business Analyst - Wealth Management / Risk

We are seeking to hire a Medior / Senior Business Analyst to join our client team and support business and IT initiatives within the banking sector, with a focus on Wealth Management and/or Risk.

The ideal candidate has strong Business Analysis experience within banking or financial services, excellent understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively bridge the gap between Business and IT teams.

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Work closely with Business and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.
• Analyse and document existing and target business processes.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for optimisation.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements and other relevant documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Support the definition and validation of functional solutions.
• Participate in testing activities, including test case preparation, execution and validation.
• Track and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and communicate dependencies, risks and potential issues.
• Support project managers and other stakeholders with business analysis activities and reporting.

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
• Previous experience in the Banking / Financial Services sector.
• Experience in Wealth Management and/or Risk domains.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
• Experience in business process analysis and modelling.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Experience working closely with both Business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English.

The following will be considered as a plus:

• Experience with Wealth Management platforms and financial products.
• Experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, Market Risk or related areas.
• Knowledge of banking processes and financial services.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar.
• Relevant Business Analysis certifications.

• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into practical solutions.
