As a Mid-Senior Brand Designer at Shuttlers, you won’t just be making things look "pretty", you’ll be the visual architect of the future of shared mobility. Shuttlers is transforming the way professionals move across Africa’s bustling cities, and your job is to ensure our brand feels as reliable, innovative, and sleek as the tech behind our buses.
You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing, product, and operations, taking high-level concepts and turning them into visual stories that resonate with individual commuters and corporate partners alike.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale the Shuttlers visual identity. You’ll ensure consistency across every touchpoint, from the app interface to the wrap on a 30-seater bus.
- Lead the design for integrated marketing campaigns (social media, OOH, email, and performance ads) that drive user acquisition and retention.
- Create high-fidelity decks for B2B sales, internal culture assets, and physical brand collateral (merch, signage, etc.).
- Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers, helping to elevate the output of the entire creative team.
- Work closely with the Product team to ensure brand alignment within the UI/UX and with the Marketing team to translate data insights into compelling visuals.
Requirements
- You have 4+ years of experience in brand design, preferably within a fast-paced tech startup or a top-tier creative agency.
- You understand the "move fast and break things" mentality, but you prefer to "move fast and build beautifully."
- You don't just design static images. You are proficient in motion graphics (After Effects/Lottie), bringing our brand to life through animation for social ads and app micro-interactions.
- Your "office" consists of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). You treat your layers like a fine-tuned engine; organized and efficient.
- You can explain the why behind a typeface or a color palette. You design with the business goal in mind, whether that's increasing app downloads or closing a corporate partnership.
- From high-concept brand systems to the grit of production design, you take pride in the details. You have a sharp eye for typography, grid systems, and layout.

- 4+ years of experience in brand design
- Proficient in motion graphics (After Effects/Lottie)

- Ability to explain design choices and align with business goals
