If you want to:
- Design and implement data transformation jobs using dbt to support the creation of reusable data assets that meet business requirements and are ready for analysis;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and analytics requirements, translating them into technical specifications and data models;
- Develop and maintain a data warehouse that meets business needs, ensuring data accuracy and completeness;
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient, dependable, and scalable data models and pipelines to meet current and future needs;
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data;
- Encourage and facilitate the adoption of software engineering best practices for analytics, including version control, code reviews, and basic automated testing to ensure code quality and readability.
And you can check off:
- Proven experience in Analytics Engineering or a similar role, e.g., BI developer;
- Excellent and proven skills in using SQL, capable of writing easily understandable, maintainable, and efficient SQL commands;
- dbt technology knowledge – a transformation command tool that allows implementing analytics code using SQL;
- Proficiency in data modeling and skills in data transformation techniques;
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English;
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently. Above all, being equally data-driven and results-driven.
Bonus points if you:
- Know your way around cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake;
- Have experience in working with programming languages such as Python and R;
- Are familiar with Git, Scrum methodology and Agile development practices.
