This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Administer and provide physical security services for the purpose of safeguarding people, the environment, property, and information, consistently within company and government requirements
- Responsible for access control, patrolling, emergency communication and response, and traffic and parking enforcement
- Assist in the investigations of reported incidents
- Respond to alarms and emergencies and directs evacuations as needed
- Deescalate/resolve conflicts and document incidents with high level of detail
- Issue security citations
- Identifies and report potentially hazardous situations
- Provide protection for VIPs as needed
- Provide support for special events and functions
- Ensures compliance with company's written policies and procedures
- Interfaces with government agencies, local and federal law enforcement, and with site Security and Fire management, company management and employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure understanding of and compliance with company rules and regulations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in a related field (Law Enforcement, Security, Military)
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
- Must be able and willing to work any shift as well as other irregular hours, weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)

Summary Pay Range: $46,150 - $70,800
