This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
The Role: The Supplier Quality Product and Process Verification (PPV) representative is responsible for collaborating with our suppliers to ensure Spirit is receiving conforming parts from our suppliers. The role of the PPV rep is to work with the suppliers and compare supplier planning against engineering requirements to ensure completeness and that the planning encompasses all customer requirements. Following the planning review, PPV reps are responsible for performing process and product audits applicable to that supplier. PPV reps will also be responsible for the follow up and closure of all findings found utilizing the Root Cause Corrective Action process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for validating supplier planning against engineering requirements
- Responsible for performing audits on supplier processes and products
- Manage and assist with supplier RCCA activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with Quality/Manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Strong familiarity with SAP/MES
- Strong ability to review engineering data and customer approval requirements language
- Strong ability to read drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI) and understand contracts
- Strong ability to work with other organizations to resolution
- Strong Root Cause Correct Action skills
- Strong auditing skills
- Ability to travel - up to 30%

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $77,250 - $118,450
