Our team is hiring for a Senior or Mid-Level Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineering) to become part of Boeing Global Services Modification and Sustainment Engineering in Tulsa, Oklahoma or Oklahoma City, OK.  The open positions will support the modification, retrofit, and/or repair of multi-platform aircraft including, but not limited to F/A-18, F-15, F-22, KC-135.  The opportunity in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area is to serve on-site at key supplier of KC-135 assembly new build startup activity.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads / participates in the research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
  • Leads / participates in analyses, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
  • Develops and implements product/process improvements.
  • Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations.
  • Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution.
  • Leads / participates in the development of interim and final solutions.
  • Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment. Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
  • Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Leads / participates in activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
  • Leads / participates in the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
  • Develops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
  • Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 5+ years or experience with Structural Liaison, Structural Design or Structural Analysis.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience for Senior level
  • Engineering MRB (Material Review Board) certification.

Compensation/Pay Information

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:

Mid-Level - $97,200 - $118,800

Senior - $118,800 - $145,200
