The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Berkeley, Missouri.
This individual will manage Special Access Programs (SAP) and other restricted/proprietary security initiatives, ensuring flawless execution and the achievement of all operational goals.
As an individual contributor, this individual will ensure programmatic security posture is compliant with all applicable regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on topics such as critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, operations security, physical and communication security, and other security training as required
- Conduct inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Prepare activity or program concept of operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations
- Establish procedures for protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials
- Coordinate across the security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial and technical teams, as well as senior Boeing personnel and United States Government customers to seek contract execution approvals, security rulings or deviations as may be required
- Validate internal security controls through the performance of detailed compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections
- Identifies deficiencies; and recommend and/or implement timely corrective action(s)
- Assist lesser experienced employees with the administration and execution of security protocols
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
- 3+ years of experience in Industrial Security
- 3+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
- 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
- Ability to support after-hours deployments and rotational on-call
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
- Experience communicating with internal and external customers

Summary pay range: $88,400 - $119,600
