This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for synchronizing the supply chain to ensure goods and services are delivered on time, at the right location, and meet quality standards. This role partners closely with internal teams and external suppliers to drive supply chain performance.
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for supplier management
- Interfaces with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment on delivery, cost, and quality
- Manages inventory levels and supplier performance
- Monitors demand to optimize supply chain planning and reduce variability
- Serves as the supply chain focal for Operations
- Supports execution of cross-functional supply chain processes and business initiatives
- Applies process improvement and problem-solving techniques to drive efficiency and resolve issues
- Collaborates across functions to support planning, execution, and continuous improvement
- Operates effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating sound judgment and leadership
- Supports manufacturing operations meetings to ensure quality and delivery issues are reviewed and resolved
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- MBA or advanced degree a plus
- Strong data analysis capabilities
- Experience with MRP systems, SAP preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain optimization principles
- Program Management experience and/or certification

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $73,050 - $112,000
