As a Mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer - SATCOM, you will support the design and development of platform services that enable secure, scalable, and reliable satellite ground communications and data‑transport capabilities. You will contribute to frontend and backend components, participate in technical discussions, and help ensure software solutions align with system requirements and program objectives. In this role, you will work with cross‑functional engineering teams to implement features, resolve issues, and support ongoing platform integration.
What you’ll do:
- Develop backend services in Python, including APIs, automation logic, and service‑level components.
- Build and maintain PostgreSQL database structures such as SQL queries, triggers, and stored functions.
- Implement microservices and security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Contribute to frontend development activities using TypeScript and modern component‑based web frameworks.
- Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, and iterative delivery.
- Support investigation and resolution of production issues using structured troubleshooting practices.

Required Qualifications:

An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
