Mid-Level Frontend Software Engineer

Pricefox.gr is the leading services' marketplace in Greece. Our mission is simple enough: we help people save money and time. We are simplifying the online marketplace by building the best compare and purchase insurance and energy products. We are backed by ANT1 and the Samlino Group.

The UI team focuses on developing essential UI parts of the Pricefox platform. We grow fast, and we have many exciting tasks for the future. We aim to improve development agility and UI consistency. Currently, ~80% of the UI is written in Vue, but we like exploring ways to simplify our code. Lately, we’ve been experimenting with htmx for some use cases.

Here are the product areas where you will be involved:

• Defining and implementing the UI/UX across all Pricefox's pillars (car-insurance, energy, etc).
• Redesigning fundamental UI components to improve development experience.
• Optimizing time to first interaction.

You are expected to spend at least 40-50% of the time in a given month in the office, though we're usually flexible.

You should expect three rounds in our interview process: the first will be a live coding exercise focused on data structures and algorithms, so we recommend reviewing key concepts in advance (~1hr). After that, you’ll take an online, at your own pace and setting, short talent and personality test (~1hr). The second round consists of a take-at-home assignment, where you'll be given ~7 days to complete plus the followup interview (~1hour) where you'll give a walk-through of your approach, discuss variations, trade-offs and maybe try your hand on some extensions. Finally, you’ll have a conversation with our CEO to discuss cultural fit (~1hr).
