Mid-Level Estimating and Pricing Specialist

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the Finance team in Chantilly, VA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (Labor, Material, Other Direct Costs (ODC)), and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment supports Boeing Global Services Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) teams and a variety of internal and external customers.
Position Responsibilities:

Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices
-
Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals

Develops estimating and pricing methods
-
Evaluates and develops business cases
-
Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

Develops and maintains pricing models
-
Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals
-
Performs activities in compliance with policies and procedures, including both internal controls as well as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
-
Bachelor's Degree or higher
-
3+ years of experience in a business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
-
Ability to obtain an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph post-start

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $90,100 - $121,900
