The Mid-Level Enterprise Architect will support the organisation in driving the development and implementation of data governance and knowledge management strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering processes, including stakeholder engagement, documentation, communication, and change management aligned to organisational strategies
- Review existing data management policies and strategies, identifying gaps and recommending improvements aligned with best practices
- Support the establishment and formal implementation of data governance structures, including:
- Defining roles and responsibilities
- Developing terms of reference
- Coordinating governance forums and workshops
- Establishing reporting mechanisms
- Develop and formalise data taxonomies, including:
- Data dictionary creation
- Data asset inventory management
- Design and develop a Knowledge Management maturity roadmap aligned to organisational directives
- Ensure alignment of all deliverables with enterprise architecture principles and governance frameworks
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- NQF 6 or higher tertiary qualifications and
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect and
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect
Strong experience in:
- Data Governance frameworks and implementation
- Enterprise Architecture methodologies
- Policy analysis and development
- Knowledge Management frameworks
- Experience in large or complex organisational environments will be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

- Experience with Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
- Policy analysis and development experience
- Knowledge Management frameworks experience
- Experience in large or complex organisational environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, change management, and communication skills
