Hands-on experience in copywriting for digital platforms means you can come up with concepts that fit the brief, and come up with quality copy, putting the finishing touches to any story. You are as obsessed with culture as you are with content — deeply connected to social media, current events, the zeitgeist, and trends. You know how to make content that gets clicks!
The Role (SEM Content Writing + Creative Copwriting)
-Writing copy for ads - ranging from static to video ads on digital and social platforms, even content for e-mailers, app store descriptions, etc. Understanding that while the ad must be creative In nature, It needs to goal-oriented and drive results. Finding the right balance between creativity and functionality Is key.
-While part of the role would include creative copywriting, a large chunk of the work would be focussed on SEM content writing i.e. writing RSAs, ETAs, FB ad copies for Google and Meta, given that we create performance-driven creatives.
-Working harmoniously alongside a team comprising of Art Directors & Copywriters, to create copy for creative campaigns, social media, and marketing briefs.
-Coordinating with freelance translators to work on some of the English copies written in-house, getting the copies effectively translated to different languages for different regions.
-Taking down briefs, understanding, and dissecting briefs to come up with creative concepts for digital campaigns, along with on-ground and digital activation Ideas on how campaigns can be extended to support the big Idea.
- Develop thoughtful creative work that delivers on the overall strategy within the required turnaround time.
- Take responsibility on projects, coordinating between teams Internally, brainstorming Ideas and adhering to timey deliveries.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience with copywriting for an ad agency digital/social media agency
- Well-versed in English, good grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills
-Ability to be collaborative and flexible in working with diverse teams and with shifting priorities
-Experience working with Art Directors, Social Media Strategists and Account Managers
-Have experience managing clients and coordinating in fluent professional level English
-Keep up with online social media trends in the digital space, and have an understanding of the advertising and marketing realm

Skills Required
