Description:
The CNO Discovery Analytics Team (DAT), is looking for a new team member to help develop and maintain a large suite of custom analytic and UI based software tools. These tools are used to aid CNO operators and analysts with quickly identifying and thwarting threats from their adversaries. The candidate will work closely with analysts, operators, and other DAT team members to create and maintain UI based tools that help address important mission issues.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to software shortcomings reported by users of existing applications.
- Gather requirements and rapidly develop new prototype tools/solutions that help customers do their jobs more efficiently.
- Understand the customers mission, collaborate with team members, gather user requirements, and automate workflows.
Skills Requirements:
- Teams are small and cross-functional, so ideal candidates bring some combination of UI/UX, middleware/API, back-end, DevOps, CNO, or data science experience with a heavier interest/experience in UI and frontend.
- JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience.
- Experience developing with UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc.).
- Familiarity with Relational Databases (Postgres, SQLite, etc.).
- Experience writing scripts and services in Python.
- Familiarity with GitLab (CI/CD).
- Understanding of basic Containerization in Docker.
- Familiarity with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, IOS, or Android).
Qualifications:
- Active and current TS.SCI w FSP
- 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S
Preferred:
- Prior CNO experience.
- Knowledge of Network Protocols.
- Experience developing UIs with 508 compliances in mind.
- Experience with analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
This position is 100% on-site.

Skills Required
- Active and current TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph
- Eight years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree
- JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
- Experience with UI frameworks such as React or Angular
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQLite
- Experience writing scripts and services in Python
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
- Basic Docker containerization knowledge
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, iOS, or Android operating systems
- UI/UX, middleware/API, backend, DevOps, CNO, or data science experience, with emphasis on UI and frontend
- Prior CNO experience
- Knowledge of network protocols
- Experience developing accessible UIs with Section 508 compliance
- Experience analyzing cybersecurity-related datasets, including network traffic and operating-system events
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
