We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and solid experience working with Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with data integration and transformation, and will ideally bring some exposure to modern tools such as Matillion and/or SnapLogic. This role suits someone with a few years of experience who wants to grow into more senior responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows, primarily using SQL and Snowflake. 

• Assist in building and optimizing data models to support analytics and reporting needs. 

• Ingest and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability. 

• Support data quality, governance, and security practices across data processes. 

• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver business-ready datasets. 

• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement. 

• Gain hands-on experience with tools such as Matillion and SnapLogic under senior guidance. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, with strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Snowflake. 

• Understanding of ETL/ELT principles and experience building data pipelines. 

• Basic knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization. 

• Some experience with data integration tools (Matillion, SnapLogic, or similar is a plus). 

• Familiarity with working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. 

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to Matillion or SnapLogic in production or training projects. 

• Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation. 

• Familiarity with APIs and cloud-based data services.
