SMB Assessment Technical Consultant (Hindi & English) – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Role Description
The Inviso Technical Consultant is a customer-facing technical advisor responsible for supporting Microsoft Assessment programs focused on Cloud Migration, Copilot Adoption, and Security within Microsoft’s SMB customer segment. This role owns customer assessment engagements end-to-end, partnering with customers, Microsoft stakeholders, and partners to help organizations gain a thorough understanding of their current IT environment and define a roadmap for cloud modernization.
The Consultant serves as the front line for assessment delivery, supporting customers in the deployment of relevant assessment tools and guiding them through the adoption of Microsoft Cloud technologies. Working within Inviso’s Microsoft Consulting Group, this role collaborates closely with Microsoft field sellers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful assessment outcomes and customer migration readiness.
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, supporting customers in India. Candidates must be fluent in both Hindi and English, reside in the Kuala Lumpur area, and work the shift of 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM MYT / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST. Visa sponsorship is not available.
The Team
Inviso supports Microsoft in providing a range of Assessment services and is expanding support for Assessments focused on Cloud Migration, Copilot Adoption, and Security in Microsoft’s SMB customer segment.
This program provides data-driven reports to help customers gain a thorough understanding of their current IT estate and inform their cloud migration strategy, extending their capabilities and empowering their organizations.
The SMB Assessment Desk receives nominations from multiple channels within Microsoft, engaging customers for:
- Pre-deployment technical check calls
- Deployment support
- Report delivery to customers and partners
- Rapid migration enablement activities
The Desk leverages third-party Assessment tools including:
- Dr.Migrate
- QS Solutions’ CSAT
The success of the SMB Assessment Desk is defined by enabling customers to migrate and modernize their infrastructure with Microsoft Cloud services, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
Experience & Skills Required
Core Experience
- C2 level proficiency in both Hindi and English.
- Experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Technical experience with cloud services or SaaS products such as:
- Microsoft 365
- Office 365
- Azure
- Copilot
- Google Workspace
- AWS
- Customer-facing experience, including delivering presentations.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT service or technical support.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Excellent coordination and status-reporting capabilities.
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience reviewing assessment results and identifying key business and technical insights.
- Experience presenting recommendations and roadmaps to customers and stakeholders.

- Experience maintaining activity tracking and reporting within CRM or internal systems.
Assessment Delivery Skills
Successful candidates will be able to deliver all components of an Assessment, including:
Engagement with Microsoft Stakeholders and Field Sellers
- Collaborate with Microsoft teams and stakeholders throughout the assessment lifecycle.
Requirements Communication and Kickoff
- Understand and clearly communicate the technical requirements of the Scale Assessment process.
- Communicate expected benefits and outcomes of assessment delivery.
Discovery
- Determine the optimal discovery platform based on customer objectives.
- Support tool deployment and complete discovery activities.
Analysis
- Review and finalize Assessment Reports.
- Identify, validate, and highlight key insights and recommendations.
Presentation
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to customers, partners, and Microsoft stakeholders.
Cross-Team Coordination
- Support seamless transitions into post-assessment activities with Microsoft teams, partners, and other stakeholders.
Tracking
- Log activities and maintain accurate records within internal systems and CRM platforms.
Workshops
- Conduct AI Adoption workshops and customer education sessions.

Skills Required
