Key Responsibilities
- Lead the solutioning, design, and implementation of end-to-end Microsoft Fabric data and analytics solutions.
- Drive modernization and migration initiatives from legacy data platforms, ETL tools, and data warehouses to Microsoft Fabric.
- Define scalable implementation approaches, best practices, standards, and reusable patterns for Fabric adoption.
- Provide technical leadership across data ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic modeling, analytics, and reporting components.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Lead solution reviews, technical roadmaps, estimation, and delivery planning activities.
- Guide teams in implementing Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Medallion Architecture, Real-Time Analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, governance, and operational requirements.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, DevOps adoption, and implementation best practices.
- Remain hands-on in critical design decisions, troubleshooting, optimization, and key implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform technologies.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric solutions.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end enterprise data platform implementations from ingestion through analytics and reporting.
- Strong experience leading modernization and migration programs from legacy/on-premises data platforms to Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data engineering best practices, governance, and performance optimization.
- Experience leading distributed delivery teams and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on execution.
Skills Required
