Project Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This role will support a greenfield implementation of Business Central across multiple regions, with a focus on interfacing with internal operational and finance teams to gather requirements, design processes, and support rollout.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional workshops with internal stakeholders in finance and operations to gather business requirements.
- Design and document scalable processes and solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Configure Business Central modules to support core finance and operational functions.
- Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and support testing and training phases.
- Support the integration of Business Central with existing business systems and data sources.
- Guide change management activities and promote user adoption.
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (greenfield or reimplementation).
- Strong understanding of financial processes (AP, AR, GL, reporting) and operational workflows (purchasing, inventory, order management).
- Experience with designing and implementing intracompany postings.
- Experience with latest Business Central releases, including subscription billing features.
- Comfortable working directly with internal business stakeholders and managing workshops.
- Experience supporting multi-region or multi-entity rollouts is highly desirable.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications are a plus.
- Contract Duration: 3-6 months (with potential extension)
- Start: Immediate / ASAP
- Outside IR35 preferred
- Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel for workshops or stakeholder meetings
