Stoneridge Software is looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for consulting on Microsoft Azure as well as other functional areas within Microsoft Cloud such as Copilot and Modern Work. In addition, the ability and willingness to lead the functional side of an implementation as well as mentor other architects and consultants is required.

 

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the architectural design of Microsoft Cloud implementations, while also being adept at hands-on configuration. Furthermore, it involves assisting clients with the implementation and support of Microsoft Cloud Solutions. A genuine passion for helping clients achieve their planning and production goals is essential. 

A Day in the Life

  • As part of the Cloud Services team provide design, functional knowledge, and manage client relationships within the context of an individual role from early solution demos to going live on projects
  • Provide delivery, pre-sales, oversight, and leadership for Microsoft Cloud projects including Azure, Co-Pilot, and Modern Work 
  • Ability to lead clients in security considerations around Microsoft Cloud Projects 
  • Understand client businesses and gather requirements for project needs and gap analysis
  • Act as a trusted advisor for cloud solutions, you’ll be responsible for overall solution strategy, including roadmap, design, and consulting engagements. 
  • Collaborate with various teams and project management to develop and execute solutions, provide leadership, and ensure project alignment 
  • Create and deliver solution blueprints, estimates, and functional design documents, while performing demonstrations and mentoring consultants. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, maintain knowledge of third-party vendors, and provide thought leadership and architectural guidance 
  • Mentor and grow less senior team members by having the ability to be hands on to provide a solution to a client
  • Participate in pre-sales activities with technology services prospects to help sell them on Stoneridge’s ability to execute on the projects
  • Write technical Statements of Work.
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of Microsoft Cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 modules focusing on areas such as Migrations, Networking, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Endpoint Management, Security, Identity, Management, Compliance, and more...
  • Conduct Azure and M365 projects with proper testing and documentation to assure successful customers
  • Participate in the development of the sales to discovery to execution to Hypercare process for technology services projects and follow that process as it becomes outlined

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current certification in Azure, M365, Security, or the ability to become certified within 12 months of starting in the role. 
  • Strong understanding of Identity Management, Security, and Compliance. 
  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle M365 implementations. 
  • 5+ years of experience in technology services delivery 
  • 5+ years of experience in data solution design 
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English 
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening and clear message conveyance 
  • Positive attitude towards change, showing flexibility and adaptability 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, fostering cooperation and inclusivity
  • Willingness to mentor other team members periodically 
  • Degree in Technology or extensive experience in a related field

    Work Location: This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States or REMOTE in Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan).


    Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularly meet with client teams across the United States and Canada will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.

Compensation

  • Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.

  • US (USD): $160,000 - $195,000
  • Canada (CAD): C$140,000 - C$190,000
