We are seeking a skilled AL Developer to join our ERP delivery team, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AL extensions that enhance Business Central functionality, ensuring alignment with modern development practices and cloud-first architecture.
About the role:- Develop and maintain AL extensions for Microsoft Business Central, ensuring modularity and upgrade compatibility.
- Convert legacy C/AL customisations into AL-based extensions as part of our modernisation roadmap.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developments and customisations.
- Support integration efforts with LS Retail and other third-party solutions.
- Stay current with Microsoft’s AL language updates and Business Central roadmap.
- Proven experience developing in AL for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, including object ranges, licensing, and extension management.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with C/AL and the transition process to AL is a plus.
- Knowledge of LS Retail or other vertical solutions is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps and automated testing frameworks.
