We are looking for a Senior M365 Copilot Engineer with strong experience in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 Copilot across large organisations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with M365 Copilot configuration, Copilot governance, Agent 365, Microsoft Purview and data-risk remediation.

You will work closely with technology, security and business teams to ensure Copilot is deployed securely, governed effectively and delivers value at enterprise scale.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot across large enterprise environments.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365 Copilot and the M365 Admin Centre.
  • Configure Copilot and Agent 365, including:
    • Agents
    • Connectors
    • Microsoft first-party Copilot experiences
  • Implement appropriate governance, security and compliance controls for the Copilot environment.
  • Configure Microsoft Purview to support data protection, compliance and safe Copilot adoption.
  • Analyse SAM reports to identify Copilot-related data risks and drive remediation activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve data exposure and permissions risks that may impact Copilot.
  • Support enterprise-wide Copilot configuration, governance and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance and M365 teams to ensure Copilot deployments align with organisational policies.
  • Contribute to documentation, governance standards and best practices for enterprise Copilot adoption.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience of rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot within a large organisation.
  • Detailed understanding of the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
  • Strong hands-on experience with M365 Copilot configuration.
  • Experience with Agent 365, including configuration of Agents and Connectors.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft first-party Copilot experiences.
  • Experience configuring Microsoft Purview to ensure the safety and governance of the Copilot environment.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance and permissions within Microsoft 365.
  • Experience analysing SAM reports and remediating identified data risks.
  • Experience working with enterprise stakeholders across M365, security, compliance and technology teams.
Desirable
  • Experience with Copilot Studio deployment and development.
  • Experience building/configuring Copilot agents and custom connectors.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Power Automate and Dataverse.
  • Experience with Azure AI / Azure OpenAI.
  • PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API experience.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Skills Required

  • 6+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Hands-on experience rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot within a large enterprise environment
  • Expertise with Microsoft 365 Admin Center
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot architecture and administration
  • Experience configuring Copilot Agents, Graph Connectors, and first-party Copilot experiences
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview and enterprise data governance
  • Experience implementing Sensitivity Labels, DLP, Information Protection, Compliance policies, and Data Classification
  • Experience identifying and remediating Copilot data risks using SAM reports or equivalent assessments
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and Copilot prerequisites
  • Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio development or deployment
  • Experience building custom Copilot agents
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API
  • Familiarity with Azure AI services
  • Experience in enterprise digital workplace or modern workplace transformation projects
  • Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Security, or Azure
